Throat Cancer

I would like to share my experience with an exceptional Otolaryngologist, Dr Uttam Sinha, who has made a significant impact on my life. In 2018, I faced an unexpected diagnoses of HPV throat cancer. My first oncologist presented me with daunting prognosis: chemo, surgery, and radiation were deemed necessary, failing which I would face a long painful and terrible end.

My husband who had 40 years of experience as a medical doctor, took it upon himself to conduct a comprehensive research which lead us to Dr Sinha . Upon examining my case Dr. Sinha swiftly determined that the cancer was isolated in my tonsils. He proposed a robotic removal of the tonsils. After the procedure I did not require the chemo or radiation. I was sent home to develop a discipline for mental health which included physical exercised and spend time with my spiritual well being. The recommended diet was a mediterranean.

My follow up visits at his practice is consistently one of a positive atmosphere that alleviates much of the anxiety associated with a medical visit due to his friendly and efficient staff.

My journey with Dr Sinha has been nothing short of transformative.
